Last Updated: 02/07/2025

Mountainise.com values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal and non-personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Personal details (e.g., name, email, phone number, business information) when you contact us or sign up for services.
  • Payment details when processing transactions.
  • Usage data (e.g., IP address, browser type, device information, and website interactions).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide, manage, and improve our services.
  • Process payments and send invoices.
  • Communicate about services, updates, and support.
  • Enhance website functionality and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no online transmission is 100% secure. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share personal information, except:

  • When required by law or in response to legal requests.
  • To process payments via secure third-party payment providers.
  • With trusted service providers assisting in our business operations (under confidentiality agreements).

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Mountainise.com uses cookies and tracking technologies to enhance user experience. Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal information.
  • Opt-out of marketing communications.
  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.

8. Connected Email Accounts and Google User Data

Loft (our email and CRM platform) lets you connect your own email inbox — including Gmail via Google, or Microsoft Outlook — so you can send email directly from your address. This section describes how we handle data accessed through those connections.

When you connect a Google (Gmail) account, we request the minimum access necessary. We use the Gmail “send” permission (gmail.send) only to send the emails you compose or schedule in Loft, from your own address. This permission does not allow us to read, search, or delete your existing mail. We also read your basic Google profile and email address solely to identify the account you connected.

Limited Use. Loft’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not:

  • use Google user data to serve advertisements;
  • sell or transfer Google user data to third parties, except as needed to provide or improve the feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate notice;
  • allow humans to read Google user data, unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized; or
  • use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

We store the authorization tokens for your connected inbox encrypted at rest and use them only to send on your behalf. You can disconnect a mailbox at any time in Loft, which deletes the stored credentials, and you can revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page. The same principles apply to inboxes connected via Microsoft or standard SMTP.
